Brokenback Brumbies
Each signifying one year of the construction of the Gardens, visit the topiary Brokenback Brumbies galloping from the Brokenback Range to the watering holes of Hunter Valley Gardens.
Grown from Muhlembeckia, each Brokenback Brumby is comprised of 4 plants sculpted over an inner frame.
Rosa Imelda
Unique to the Hunter Valley Gardens, this rose was commissioned by Bill Roche as a tribute to his wife, Imelda.
Oriental Garden Dragon
Those with a keen eye will spot the Oriental Garden’s resident dragon. 35 Buxus microphylla “Japonica” plants (known as “Japanese box”) create the dragon, which is over 8 metres long.
Statues
Situated throughout the Garden are a number of beautiful statues, with the Border Garden featuring four statues that represent each of the four seasons of the year.
- Primavera (Spring)
- Estate (Summer)
- Inverno (Winter)
- Autunno (Autumn)
