Mega Snow Play Zone

Would you like to build a snowman, or even make a snow angel? Our Mega Snow Play Zone uses premium ice machines to generate man-made snow, creating an icy playground that’s fun for the whole family. Don’t forget your gloves!

Giant Ice Toboggan

Race down our super-fast Giant Ice Toboggan! Grab a tube and speed down the 45-metre slide, it’s sure to get your adrenaline pumping. Once won’t be enough!

Ice Skating Rink

Made with real ice, our Ice Skating Rink is great fun for all experience levels! Children under 6yrs can enjoy a smaller skating rink with skating aids*, while older skaters can enjoy the larger rink worry free.

Enjoy our amazing amusement rides!

Our amazing amusement rides are a permanent addition to the Gardens and add family fun. Operating daily from 10am-4:30pm, purchase your ride tickets at the Rides Ticket Booth located in the event area. Single Tickets (per person per ride) are $6, or you can purchase a Bonus 6 Ticket Pass for $30. Height and age restrictions apply.

Carousel

Experience our beautiful, traditional Venetian Carousel. A firm favourite, this feature was made in Italy to our design.

Tea Cups

Join the tea party at our fantastic Tea Cups ride. Twist, twirl and have fun in giant coloured Tea Cups.

Swing Chair

Thrill-seekers will love our flying Swing Chair. Feel the wind in your hair and get your adrenaline pumping as you fly 11 metres above the ground.

Superslide

Grab one of our mats and enjoy the excitement of speeding down this thrilling ride. Standing 12 metres high and a massive 35 metres long, our Superslide is a whole lot of fun.

Ferris Wheel

Relax and take in the view of the Gardens and surrounding countryside from 25 metres high on our spectacular Ferris Wheel. Suitable for all ages.

Tickets are only available through our website and garden entry. Guests are advised not to purchase tickets from Third Party Sellers, as fraudulent tickets will not be honoured.

  • Prohibited Items

    Prohibited items include drones, ride-on toys, scooters, roller skates, eskies, skateboards and items deemed to be unsafe by management.

  • Can I bring my pet?

    No pets are allowed into the Gardens. Registered guide dogs and companion dogs are allowed into the Gardens with their owners. Documentation for these animals is required upon entry.

  • Am I able to hire a wheelchair?

    We do not have wheelchairs available to hire, you are welcome to bring your own.

Group rates

Visiting Snow Time in the Gardens with a group? We offer excellent rates for social groups (12 adults or more), schools, after-school care and more. To be eligible for these rates you must book in advance with our Groups Sales Department.

Admission charges apply. Hunter Valley Gardens recommends guests purchase tickets on our website prior to arrival. Program subject to change. Snow Time activities are open during event hours only 9:30am – 4:30pm. Some activities may not open in adverse weather conditions and for unscheduled maintenance.
