An old-fashioned country kitchen with its own mascot!

This funky local is just like an old-fashioned country kitchen with its own mascot, Matilda the cow, at the entrance. After you take a selfie with Matilda, head indoors for hearty country-sized meals including big breakfasts, gourmet burgers, ploughman’s platters, wraps and salads.

The menu also features Nana’s famous scones, speciality options for Coeliac customers and a wide range of teas and coffees. There’s also a small but select list of local wines by the glass or bottle if you want to enjoy a glass of vino too.

Owner Louise and her friendly staff pride themselves on offering traditional country cooking just like Grandma’s, so expect to have “Food Like No Udder “!

You can dine indoors or out back on the terrace where you can enjoy views of Hunter Valley Gardens and the Brokenback Range. Afterwards have a taste of the preserves made onsite daily, and browse the country-style giftwares and wooden signs, which make perfect souvenirs.
