Giant Ice Toboggan

Race down our super-fast Giant Ice Toboggan! Grab a tube and speed down the 45-metre slide, it’s sure to get your adrenaline pumping. Once won’t be enough!

Mega Snow Play Zone

Would you like to build a snowman, or even make a snow angel? Our Mega Snow Play Zone uses premium ice machines to generate man-made snow, creating an icy playground that’s fun for the whole family. Don’t forget your gloves!

Open: 9:30am-4:30pm.
Tickets: Included with entry ticket.

Ice Skating Rink

Made with real ice, our Ice Skating Rink is great fun for all experience levels! Children under 6yrs can enjoy a smaller skating rink with skating aids*, while older skaters can enjoy the larger rink worry free.

*Tickets are limited for each session and cannot be booked in advance.

TIP: Skating sessions run for 20 minutes, and we suggest you arrive 15 minutes prior to collect your skates. Pick up your skating session tickets from 9:30am in the event area to avoid disappointment.

Performances run for half an hour from 10am, 11am, 12noon & 1pm.

Skating, extra details

Skating sessions* start at 10am and the last session begins at 4pm. Skating tickets can be collected from 9:30 at the skating tickets booth.

*Sessions operate on a first-in/first-served basis with capped numbers in each session.

Ice Skating Gear

Hunter Valley Gardens provides ice skates and helmets in a range of sizes at no extra cost.

Guests are permitted to wear their own skates.

Children under the age of 6 years must wear a helmet and hair net. We provide helmets; however, you may bring your own helmet to ensure a correct fit for your child.

Skating Aid

Skating aids (Bobby Seals) will be available for children 6 years and under ONLY and cost $6 each. Limited skating aids are available.

Skating aids (Bobby Seals) must be booked at the same time you book your skating session. If all the skating aids are booked out, our staff can let you know the next session they are available.

Skating aids can only be used on the junior ice skating rink.

Payment is by EFTPOS only, no cash sales are available.

Amusement Rides

$6 per ride, or a bonus 6 token pass for $30.
Day session rides from 10am – 3:30pm | Night Safari rides from 5:30pm – 9:30pm.

Ride tickets available at the rides ticket booth located in the event area.

  • Tea Cup
    Children between 95cm-120cm must ride with an adult, 120cm and above may ride alone.
  • Superslide
    Children between 110cm-120cm must ride with an adult, 120cm and above may ride alone.
  • Carousel
    For children only. Children below 105cm must ride with an adult (adult must stand next to child).
  • Swing Chair
    Children between 110cm-120cm must ride with an adult, 120cm and above may ride alone.
  • Ferris Wheel
    Children below 120cm must ride with an adult.
  • Closures – rides will close for unscheduled maintenance and weather events i.e., rain or severe weather
  • Ride operators to confirm height of guests prior to ride entry – guests who do not meet height requirements will be refused entry to ride
  • Guests must obey operator instructions at all times
  • Guests must be polite and respectful to staff at all times, failure to adhere to this may lead to expulsion from the event
