Giant Ice Toboggan

Race down our super-fast Giant Ice Toboggan! Grab a tube and speed down the 45-metre slide, it’s sure to get your adrenaline pumping, and once won’t be enough!

Mega Snow Play Zone

Would you like to build a snowman or create a snow angel? Our Snow Play Zone is great fun for the whole family and don’t forget your gloves.

Open: 9:30am-4:30pm.

Ice Skating Rink

Pick up your free skating session passes, grab your skates and helmet and get skating! Made with real ice, our ice skating rink is great fun. Skating sessions run for 20 minutes starting at 10am, we suggest you arrive 15 minutes prior to collect your skates.

Chill Zone Kids Craft Area

Enjoy our winter themed craft activities during school holidays. Located in the Igloo Marquee.

Open: From Saturday 6th July to Sunday 21st July. From 10am-2pm
Tickets: Included with entry ticket.

TIP: Pick up your skating session passes from 9:30am in the event area to avoid disappointment.

Children will love our roaming Snow Time entertainment*. Snap a photo with them as they move around the event area!
Performances run for half an hour from 10am, 11am, 12noon & 1pm.

Skating, extra details

Skating sessions start at 10am and the last session begins at 4pm. Skating tickets can be collected from 9:30 at the skating tickets booth.

Sessions operate on a first-in/first-served basis with capped numbers in each session.

Ice Skating Gear

Hunter Valley Gardens provides ice skates, hair nets and helmets in a range of sizes at no extra cost.

Guests are permitted to wear their own skates.

Children under the age of 6 years must wear a helmet and hair net. We provide them; however, you may bring your own to ensure
a correct fit for your child.

Skating Aid

Skating aids (Bobby Seals) will be available for children 6 years and under ONLY and cost $6 each. Limited skating aids are available.

Skating aids (Bobby Seals) must be booked at the same time you book your skating session. If all the skating aids are booked out, our staff can let you know the next session they are available.

Skating aids can only be used on the junior ice skating rink.

Payment is by EFTPOS only, no cash sales are available.

Amusement Rides

$6 per ride, or purchase a bonus 6 ticket pass for $30.
Rides operate from 10am–4:30pm | Last ride at 4:15pm.

Ride tickets available at the rides ticket booth located in the event area. Ride ticket sales close at 4pm.

  • Tea Cups
    Children between 95cm-120cm must ride with an adult, 120cm and above may ride alone.
  • Superslide
    Children between 110cm-120cm must ride with an adult, 120cm and above may ride alone.
  • Carousel
    For children only. Children below 105cm must ride with an adult (adult must stand next to child).
  • Swing Chair
    Children between 110cm-120cm must ride with an adult, 120cm and above may ride alone.
  • Ferris Wheel
    Children below 120cm must ride with a paying adult.
  • Closures – rides may close for unscheduled maintenance and weather events i.e., lightning or severe weather
  • Ride operators to confirm height of guests prior to ride entry – guests who do not meet height requirements will be refused entry to ride
  • Guests must obey operator instructions at all times
  • Guests must be polite and respectful to staff at all times, failure to adhere to this will lead to expulsion from the event
