Terms and Conditions

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Entry is open to all the audience 18+ years during competition dates. Excluding management, employees and their immediate families of the Promoter (Roche Group Pty Limited).
  2. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and personal details concerning entrants.
  3. The competition commences at 8am (AEST) on Thursday 13 March 2025 and closes at 10:00pm (AEST) on Thursday 3 April 2025. Only entries that are received in accordance with the Competition T&C during the competition period will be eligible to entry.

COMPETITION ENTRY

  1. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegal entries will be deemed invalid and will be rejected. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry where reasonably suspects that such materials are prohibited by these terms and conditions, any relevant law, or are otherwise deemed inappropriate. This is at the Promoter’s absolute discretion and discussions will not be entered into. Answers that are considered unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive, contain objectionable content or otherwise inappropriate will be deemed invalid and rejected. In its absolute discretion, the Promoter reserves the right to notify relevant authorities including law enforcement bodies and provide them with the objectionable answer and the entrant’s personal information.
  2. As a condition of entering this competition, all entrants grant to the Promoter the right to use their name and answers on social media and in promotional material, this usage is royalty free. This usage includes but is not limited to any media including banners, signage, posters, magazines, television, internet, DVD, MMS or other digital or print formats.
  3. Limit of 1 entry per person.
  4. The Promoter will not edit, alter or demean any answers in any way.
  5. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the competition and may, for this purpose disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers as required, to Australian regulatory and enforcement authorities. All personal information received will be dealt with in accordance with the National Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act.
  6. This is in no way sponsored, administered, or associated with Meta or any Meta products. By entering, entrants confirm they are 18+ years old, release Facebook and Instagram of responsibility and agree to Meta’s terms of use.
  7. The competition winners are selected randomly by electronic means from the list of participants who answer all questions correctly. Hunter Valley Gardens’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  8. The winners will be notified by email on Friday 4 April 2025. If the winners do not reply to the email by Monday 7 April at 10am the prize will be drawn again.
  9. Hunter Valley Gardens is not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising out of or in any way connected with this competition and/or the prizes.
  10. Hunter Valley Gardens accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed or ineligible applications, claims or correspondence, whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, theft, deletion, destruction, transmission, interruption, communications failure or otherwise. Hunter Valley Gardens has no control over the internet, networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise.
  11. If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any cause beyond the control of Hunter Valley Gardens which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, Hunter Valley Gardens in its sole discretion may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries.

PRIZES

  1. The prizes are:
    1st Prize – A Hunter Valley Gardens Mega Creatures Family Pass (2 adults – 2 children) valid for Mega Creatures Day Session or Nights Safari with 5 ride tickets for each person. Plus, 1-night accommodation at Harrigan’s Hunter Valley^.
    2nd Prize – A Hunter Valley Gardens Mega Creatures Family Pass Combo (2 adults – 2 children) valid for Mega Creatures Day Session and Night Safari with 5 ride tickets for each person for one of the sessions.
    3rd Prize – A Hunter Valley Gardens Mega Creatures Family Pass (2 adults – 2 children) valid for Mega Creatures Day Session or Nights Safari with 5 ride tickets for each person.
  2. The prize is not negotiable, transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash or other currency.
  3. The prize is not for distribution or re-sale.
  4. The winners are responsible for arranging and paying for any transportation to the location of the prize, including but not limited to airfares, accommodation, and car hire.
  5. ^The 1-night accommodation at Harrigan’s Hunter Valley included in the 1st Prize is subject to availability, mid-week only and valid until 31 October 2025. Accommodation is valid only for 2 adults and 2 children. Children are classed as aged between 4 and 15 years of age. Not redeemable for cash or transferable. Valid for single use. Doesn’t include transportation to the venue, including but not limited to airfares and car hire.
