Spring Time in the Garden
Dates: 1st – 30th September
From the first day of Spring the Gardens will look it’s bloomin’ best with an array of spring flowers on show. We’ve added some pop, with beautiful spring displays crafted by our horticultural team, hanging baskets and a Galaxy of Gnomes created by local schools in the region. Plus, there will be talks and walks with our talented Gardens team.
Vote on your favourite wheelbarrow for a chance to win a family pass to the Christmas Lights Spectacular. Each display is created by an individual member of our talented horticultural team.
Galaxy of Gnomes
Selected local pre-schools and primary schools have decorated and designed our Garden Gnomes display. Now you have the opportunity to vote on your favourite Gnome! The winning school will receive a prize.
Koi Fish Display
See these magnificent coloured fish as they glide through the garden ponds. Hear from our knowledgeable staff about these colourful additions to our gardens.
Some of our garden trees have new and colourful knitted displays creating some unique photo opportunities.
See multi-coloured kites decorating the trees within the Storybook Garden.
Throughout the Gardens we have colourful new topiaries for you to enjoy. Don’t forget to look out for our permanent topiaries. Can you find the Brokenback Brumbies, the Storybook Garden Turtles or the Oriental Gardens’ Dragon?
History of the Gardens
Hear from our horticultural team as they share stories behind the development of the Gardens. Plus, they will have some expert tips on getting the best out of your garden.
Local garden enthusiasts have produced some beautiful hanging baskets for you to vote on. Choose your vote carefully as the winning entry will receive a prize.
