Conditions of Entry

At Hunter Valley Gardens we endeavour to provide exhibits that complement the vegetation in our Gardens. Hunter Valley Gardens has water features that are not fenced including moats, waterways and elevated walkways that can be dangerous. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times whilst visiting.

It is an express condition of your entry and your participation in the activities conducted by Hunter Valley Gardens that you do hereby, for yourself, your heirs, executors, assigns and next-of-kin and each of them release, waive and discharge Hunter Valley Gardens, its officers, directors, agents and employees of and from all liability, claims or demands for all injuries, losses, damages of any kind or nature to your person or property or to that of any minor under your supervision, whilst on the property of Hunter Valley Gardens.

  • All children must be supervised by an accompany adult at all times
  • We do not offer refunds due to adverse weather conditions or any areas of the Gardens being closed for maintenance, special events or for any other reason
  • No filming or photography for commercial purposes should be carried out in the Gardens without prior written consent from Hunter Valley Gardens. 
  • Drones are not permitted for use on the Hunter Valley Gardens property without prior written consent from Hunter Valley Gardens.
  • No picnicking
  • No BYO alcoholic beverages
  • No pets
  • No skateboards/rollerblades/skates/scooters
  • No pushbikes
  • While visiting the Gardens you may be filmed or photographed for marketing purposes, if you wish for this not to occur please notify a staff member
  • In some areas of the Gardens there is CCTV surveillance
Hunter Valley Gardens reserves the right to refuse entry to any person who does not comply with the conditions of entry. Management reserves the right to refuse entry and eject persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol, who are disorderly, or engage in inappropriate behaviour, vandalism or evade admission. Management reserves the right to inspect any bags, clothing and other items at all entry points or within the gardens at any time. Management reserves the right to refuse entry to patrons carrying a prohibited item. Persons under 15 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times whilst in Hunter Valley Gardens.

ONLINE TICKETS

Terms & Conditions:

E-Tickets may be purchased through this website only with a major credit card. Your account will be debited at the time of ordering and payment processing fees may apply, reflecting bank fees and administration costs charged to Hunter Valley Gardens for credit card transactions. All prices include GST.

Tickets may also be purchased at Hunter Valley Gardens entry desk with cash, EFTPOS or a major credit card. No cheques are accepted. Entry to Hunter Valley Gardens is granted by presenting a printed E-Ticket (either colour or black & white) with identification for concession tickets or Local tickets. E-Tickets are valid for 12 months from time of purchase unless otherwise specified.

Handle your E-Ticket as you would cash and do not buy from or attempt to sell to anyone an E-Ticket - it has no resale value.

Day tickets are for single use only. Day / Night tickets must be used on the same day. The Gardens will be open from 9am - 4pm during the Christmas Lights Spectacular and will re-open at 6.30pm - 10pm.

Tickets are non-refundable and lost, damaged and stolen tickets cannot be replaced.

All credit card purchases are made through the National Australia Bank secure payment facility. The service uses a 128-bit secure sockets layer protocol that has been developed to protect confidential information such as credit card numbers and other financial data from interception and hacking. If you believe any unauthorized use of your credit card has occurred, please notify us by email and contact your bank directly.

Printing

Upon completion of the purchase process, you must click through back to the web site. Follow the instructions to print your E-Ticket from the purchase confirmation page (Final Step of the Purchase Process)
To avoid problems in receiving your email purchase confirmation, ensure that you enter a valid address and check that your inbox spam filter will not block Hunter Valley Gardens content. Please allow up to sixty minutes for the email purchase confirmation to arrive.
Hunter Valley Gardens reserves the right to adjust operating hours without prior notice.

Refund Policy – Both Tickets & Online E-Tickets.

Shipping Policy (No Shipping for Online Tickets):

Postage & Delivery within Australia

For telephone, mail and online orders a rate of $5 applies for all small orders and $20 for large orders. For deliveries outside Australia please contact us for postage and delivery fees.

For Online Tickets no delivery charge is applicable.
